An Do Tan (2022)

Collaboration with Shawn Bailey and Tengun Bold at the Forest School in Treaty 3, Ontario.

The installation uses accelerometer and ultrasonic-range-finding sensors to map the movement of swaying trees and human/non-human visitors in the forest. This data is translated into sound and light that transform the experience of the forest. Ultimately, the installation is an exploration of new ways of experiencing the natural world through digital technology.
